Obituary

LeRoy J. "Budge" Waupoose, age 84, of Keshena, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 in Shawano. LeRoy was born in Keshena on April 26, 1934, son of the late Robert and Mary (Tomow) Waupoose, Sr.  On December 13, 1959, he was united in marriage to Virginia "Rose" Neconish in Shawano.   Budge enjoyed living at Crow settlement.  In is free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.  LeRoy loved to spend time with his numerous nieces and nephews, who all loved him.
LeRoy is survived by: his wife, Rose of Keshena; his daughter, Trudell (Rocky) Guenette of Clintonville; sons, Gordon Waupoose of Green Bay and Calvin "Randy" (Arlene) Holder of Arizona; numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
LeRoy was preceded in death by: his parents and his brothers and sisters, Matilda "Tillie" Zhuckkahosee, Virginia Shawanokasic, Rosene Wescott, Aloysius "Al" Waupoose, Sr., Robert "Bob" Waupoose, Sr., Christine "Tina" Johnson, Evelyn "Boots" Waupoose, Lorene Pocan, and Irene Tebeau.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 30, 2018 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit with Father Nonito Barra officiating. Visitation will be held at the Neopit Community Center on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 1:00 pm until the time of the service on Monday. A wake service will be held at the Neopit Community Center on Sunday at 7:00pm.
