Lester McPherson, age 61, of Keshena passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018 in Green Bay. Lester was born in Keshena on May 18, 1957, son of the late Alfred H. and Mildred (Dickie) McPherson. He worked as a commercial plumber in Florida for more than 20 years before returning to the area. On November 27, 2002 he was united in marriage to Michelle Crow in Keshena. Lester enjoyed telling stories and jokes and often his contagious smile and laughter made people laugh more than the jokes themselves. He also loved gambling, especially buying lottery tickets and playing bingo at the casino. Lester was an avid Packer fan and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit.

Lester is survived by: his wife, Michelle McPherson; children, Aletha McPherson of Neopit, Kyle (Tasha) Grignon, Sr. of Keshena, Michelle Grignon of Keshena, and Joshua Grignon of Keshena; eight grandchildren, Stormy, Peanut, Everett, Faith, Caleb, Calvin, Sage, and Kyle; siblings, Reynold McPherson of Neopit, Karen Boyd of Keshena, Donna (Rocky) McPherson of Omro, Milton McPherson of Rhinelander, Yvonne Apolinar of California, Naomi McPherson of California, and Carol Mae McPherson of Gresham; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kendall Crow of Keshena, Jerilyn (Richard) Summers of Keshena, Sheldon Crow of Keshena, Lisa Crow of Keshena, and Jaime (Ronna) Guzman, Sr. of Keshena. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lester was preceded in death by: his parents; two brothers, Roger and Dennis; a step-son Stanley "Googs" Grignon, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Olson and Kathleen Caldwell; and a brother-in-law, Darrell Crow.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday June 20, 2018 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit. Burial will be in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the McPherson residence, N2839 Lakeview North in Keshena, beginning at 5:00pm on Monday until the procession leaves for the church on Wednesday. A wake service will be held at the house at 7:00pm on Tuesday.
