Obituary

Lester "Buck" Norman Schreiber, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, in Clintonville. He was born on November 29, 1937 to the late Norman and Nora (Reinke) Schreiber in Shawano. Buck was united in marriage to Marjorie Montour on February 2, 1958, at Peace United Church of Christ where he was a member. Marjorie preceded him in death in 1997. As a young boy, he was given the nickname, "Buck". This name carried on through the generations of his family and he loved it!

Buck worked for a garage door company for over 30 years. He was an expert and perfectionist as a master craftsman with his woodworking. Buck spent a lot of time in his workshop and painting projects. He created a variety of personalized things for his children, grandchildren, family members and friends. Some of these included birdhouses, silhouettes, dressers, cradles, rocking horses and sleds. Buck's passion for designing things was remarkable. He loved all of his family and would help anyone with anything they asked. Besides his woodworking, Buck enjoyed fishing, gardening, and feeding birds and squirrels. He enjoyed his pups and was always teaching them tricks. Buck loved showing us the things he taught them to do. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends and often played pranks on them when they visited. Buck enjoyed watching the Packers and the Brewers play and also enjoyed playing his harmonica for everyone who visited him.

He is survived by: his children, Brenda (Dan) Schroeder, Kristi (Russell) Blom, Steven (Judy) Schreiber and Mark (Robin) Schreiber; grandchildren, Jennifer Kumm, Brooke Skytta, Alex Schreiber, Josh Schreiber, Jacob Schreiber, Kaitlin Schreiber and Nic Schreiber; great-grandchildren, Lucas Anker, Aliyah Redmerski, Logan Skytta, Gavin Skytta, Margaret Schreiber, Walker Schroeder, Beau Schreiber and Easton Schreiber; brothers and sisters, Richard (Annette) Schreiber, Wayne (Jan) Schreiber, Sally Raddant, Cathy (Ron) Maas, Beatrice Nicolai and Darlene "Dolly" Dahm.

Buck is preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie; his parents; granddaughter Allison; sister, JoAnn Hartman; and brother, Anton Schreiber who passed away as an infant.
