Obituary
Leticia "Lippy" Hernandez, age 52, of Green Bay, formerly of Keshena, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016. Leticia was born on February 24, 1964 in Shawano, the daughter of the late Venito P. and Edwardien (Winnishiek) Hernandez. She was raised by her aunt and uncle, Theodore "Jesse" and Cynthian Gauthier in Keshena. Leticia lived in Oklahoma for 10 years before returning the Shawano and Green Bay area. She enjoyed playing bingo, riding in the woods and spending time with her dog and cat. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Leticia is survived by: her life-long companion, Jose Torres; five children, Sergio (Sara LeMay) Verhagen, Nicholas Verhagen, Hope Verhagen, Jerred (Brandi Beauprey) Menchaca and Enrico Menchaca; three grandchildren, DeJa LeMay, Lilliana Arcand and Seneca Beauprey; one brother, John Garcia; and two sisters, Lydia Garcia and Alisha Hernandez and special family friend, Gloria Menchaca, and other family members and friends.
Leticia was preceded in death by two brothers, Anthony Hernandez and Venito "Ben Ben" Hernandez.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Garcia residence, W650 Redwing Way in Keshena. Visitation will be held at the Garcia residence from 4:00 pm on Thursday until the time of the services.
