Lifeson McCaslin Wudtke, age 4 of Mattoon, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014 at home surrounded by his family following a courageous battle with many medical issues. Lifeson was born on February 14, 2010 in Wausau, to Nicholas and Jenene (Forstner) Wudtke. Lifeson loved to snuggle and be held by his parents, especially while being read to by his dad. Lifeson also enjoyed when his brother Maiden would sing to him while rocking him in the rocking chair. Lifeson is survived by his parents, Nick and Jenene (Forstner) Wudtke, 1 brother, Maiden Wudtke (age 7), his maternal grandparents, Peter Forstner of Tilleda and Robin White of Shawano, his paternal grandparents, Don and Jeanne Wudtke of Shawano as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends of the family. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Peace Lutheran Church in Tilleda with Rev. Melinda Shriner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham on Friday, December 12, 2014 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and again at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
