Lillian Minnie Nau, age 108, of Shawano, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016 in Shawano. Lillian was born on April 27, 1908 in Merrill, the daughter of the late Emil and Augusta (Raatz) Zastrow. On July 21, 1928, Lillian was united in marriage to Melvin Sanders in Merrill, who preceded her in death. On July 10, 1971, Lillian was united in marriage to Rev. John H. Nau, he preceded her in death on October 1, 1974. She worked at Hansen Glove Corporation and later at Clintonville Hospital before her retirement. Lillian was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano, the Ladies Aid, LWML, Quilting Ladies, and enjoyed attending Bible classes.

Lillian is survived by: one daughter, Marilynn (Alvin) Suehring of Clintonville; two sons, Allan (Judi) Sanders of Madison and James (Kitty) Sanders of Madison; two daughters-in-law, Anita Sanders of Texas and Elizabeth Sanders of Green Bay; 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She is further survived by three sisters, Helen Mosser of Merrill; Myrna Kautz of Wausau and June Behm of Wausau and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husbands; two sons, David and Ronald; two grandchildren, Jacquline and Susan; one sister, Myrtle Schneider; and two brothers, Lloyd and Roy Zastrow.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano with Rev. Ted Andrada officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery-Hermansfort. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 9:30 am until the time of the service.
