Obituary

Linda M. Kohler, age 62 of Bowler, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at her home. Linda was born in Shawano on May 27, 1956, a daughter of Ralph A. and Dawn A.C. (Hass) Welch.  In 1974, she graduated from South Division High School in Milwaukee.  Linda continued her education at Milwaukee Area Technical College, graduating with an Associate Degree in Nursing.  She worked as a nurse for 41 years, starting her career at Mt. Sinai Hospital, where she worked for 27 years before moving to Bowler.  Linda worked the rest of her career at the Stockbridge Munsee Clinic until her retirement.  In her free-time she enjoyed camping and making beautiful quilts for her family and friends to enjoy. She is a member of Old Stockbridge Presbyterian Church in Morgan Siding.
Linda is survived by: two children, Carolynn Kohler of Milwaukee and Glenn (Samantha) Kohler of Pewaukee; four grandchildren, Ethan Baker, Riley Baker, Carter Kohler and Jackson Kohler; parents, Ralph and Dawn Welch; her siblings, Kathleen (Angel) Fuentes of Milwaukee, David Welch of Minnesota, Greg Welch of Milwaukee, Peggy (Jeff) Lemke of Bowler and Bobbie Jo Welch of Wittenberg.
She was preceded in death by her sister Lisa Welch, her maternal grandparents, Otto and Roberta Hass and her paternal grandparents, Elmer and Melinda Welch.

A memorial service for Linda will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Old Stockbridge Presbyterian Church in Morgan with Pastor Micah Shin officiating. Inurnment will be in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.  Swedberg Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
