Linda Lenore Peterson, age 71, of Keshena, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2019.

Linda was born March 28, 1948, to the late Leonard and Mary (Lawe) Tucker, in Keshena, Wisconsin. On August 11, 1966 she was united in marriage to Roy Peterson, Jr., in Shawano. Linda lived in Chicago for over 40 years. During that time, she earned an Associate's degree and worked many years as a secretary at Truman College in Chicago.  Upon retirement, Linda and Roy moved back to Wisconsin, making their home in Keshena. Linda took a post-retirement position with The Tribal Courts, working in data entry. Linda was an avid Packers fan, loved playing bingo at the casino and enjoyed feeding and watching hummingbirds.

Linda is survived by: her husband, Roy Peterson, Jr.; her children, Terri Jo Peterson, Maun-Yan Cota-Nea "Monee" (Rubbin E.) Peterson-Sadler,  Roy E. (Mary E. Micik) Peterson III, and Joshua Tucker; her grandchildren, Gilbert "Chachi" (Cherie Hill) Mendez Jr., Jordan Michael (Dayna Shawano) Mendez, Lauren Ashlee Mendez, Norberto Alexander Rodriguez, Aiyana (Adrian Onate) Christine Peterson, Aria Tucker, Jenelle (Beto) Vargas, Ruby Ann Komanekin, and Marjorie Komanekin; her siblings, Norbert (Diane)Tucker, Marsha Snow, and Norma "Bobbie" Tucker. Linda is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, as well as many other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her daughter, Cynthia Lynn Peterson; siblings, Weldon "Bud" Tucker, Gary Nolan Tucker, Denise Tucker, Claire Tucker and Janice Levy.

Funeral services for Linda will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 11, 2019, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano, with Rev. Joel Jores officiating. Visitation will be held at funeral home from 9:00am Thursday, until the time of service.
