Linda M. Warrington Linda Marie Warrington, age 54 of Keshena, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. Born on August 8, 1957 in Keshena, she was the daughter of Wayne V. Pecore, Sr. and the late Glenda (Corn) Pecore. Linda lived in the Keshena area her entire life and was a graduate of Shawano High School Class of 1975. After graduating high school, she attended the Lakeland Community College and later the College of the Menominee Nation. On January 27, 1978 she was united in marriage to Bernard "Bun" Warrington, Jr. in Menominee, MI. He preceded her in death on October 12, 1980. In 1982 Linda met Michael House and the two shared their life together ever since. Linda had a great love for children and worked for many years in the Tribal Headstart Program. Children were her life and she babysat for many family members and friends throughout the years. Linda had also worked as a clerk at the Menominee Supermarket and as a carrier for the Shawano Leader. She was a member of the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Keshena where she was a religious education teacher for several years. Linda is survived by: her significant other, Michael House, Sr.; 3 children, Andrew Warrington, Floyd Warrington and Bridget House all of Keshena; 5 grandchildren, Breanna, Andyr, Sikwanoway, Samuel, Hazel; her father, Wayne "Bunker" Pecore, Sr. of Keshena; 7 siblings, Cheryl (special friend, Chris Fish) Caldwell of Keshena, Todd (Twila) Pecore of Clintonville, Lisa Peters of Keshena, Brett (Bernadette) Pecore of Keshena, Mary Beth "Muck" Pecore of Shawano, Jay (Tamami) Pecore of Ridgecrest, CA, Tina (Bill) Larsen of Madison; 5 sisters-in-law, Mary Beth W. Pecore of Neopit, Rose Marie Jaines of Keshena, Connie (Guy) Warrington of Shawano, Marilyn (Terry B) Warrington of Keshena, Carolyn (Kevin) Warrington of Keshena; 2 brothers-in-law, Marshall (Tudy) Warrington of Keshena and Rick (Shelly) Warrington of Shawano; Godchild, Rosemary Warrington of Keshena; numerous nieces and nephews; and special aunts and uncles, Luella (Loren) Small of Shawano, Pamela Grignon of Keshena, Annie King of Keshena and Bob (Barb) King of Oneida. Linda was preceded in death by: her son, Michael House, Jr.; her husband, Bernard; her mother, Glenda; a brother, Wayne "Petey" Pecore, Jr.; her grandparents; 2 brothers-in-law, James "Jim" Warrington, Michael "Flea" Peters; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Theresa and Bernard Warrington; a niece, Tricia Pecore; 2 nephews, Anthony Wilber and Jason Caldwell; aunt, Emerine Penass; and uncle William "Bill" Penass, Jr. A Memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Keshena with the Rev. Robert Rank officiating. Burial of her cremated remains will be in the church cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Thursday after 10am until the time of the service. Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano is assisting the family with the arrangements.
