It is with great sadness that the family of Lois Elaine Rohe, age 89 of Shawano, announces her passing on Monday, November 17, 2025. Lois was born on August 9, 1936, in Appleton to the late William and Estelle (Ploetz) Vils. Lois was united in marriage to Mike Rohe on June 27, 1959. They moved to Gresham in 1970 where Mike and Lois owned many family businesses over the years. However, the majority of Lois' career was spent at Gresham State Bank where she retired after 19 years.

Lois and Mike lived on Big Lake in Gresham for many years with their six children. Many wonderful memories were made by the family. After their children were grown, Lois and Mike moved to Shawano where they lived out their later years. They were blessed with wonderful, caring neighbors. Family meant everything to Lois, every holiday and birthday was a celebration. Any reason to get the family together. Lois will be remembered as a quiet, sweet and kind lady with a spontaneous, sometimes sarcastic sense of humor. She will be deeply missed. She was the embodiment of love and acceptance, with never a harsh word for anyone. She enjoyed quiet time watching the birds, doing word searches and tuning into Survivor every week. Her two cats kept her very entertained, Kit Kat and Tiger. Lois was a longtime member of Peace United Church of Christ in Shawano.

Lois is survived by her children, Mike (Ann) Rohe, Victoria (Lee) Davids, Jodi (Kent Knueppel) Ihrcke, Karen (Mike) Rades, Bill (Rachelle) Rohe; daughter-in-law, Susan (Duff) Rohe; grandchildren, Ian Rohe, Sophia Rohe,  Zachary Rohe, Kimberly (Dustin) Moede, Boomer (Amy) Davids, Keegan Ihrcke, Mackenzi Ihrcke, Maya Ihrcke, Sarah (Paul Sarnwick) Reiser, Mandy (Jasmine Myles) Rades, Sam (Kelly) Collins, Ben Rohe, Cristi (Coady) Hutson, Joshua Rohe and Haley (Alex) Glover; great-grandchildren, Alison Moede, Cameron Moede,  Malik Moede, Lee Davids III, Noah Davids, Mia Davids, Jacqueline Collins, Jameson Collins, Sebastian Sarnwick; and sister, June Biechler. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Mike; son, Patrick Rohe; grandson, Devin Rohe; her parents, William and Estelle; and sisters, Barb Devalk, Shirley Quella and Judy Swiontek.

A memorial service to honor Lois will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday November 22, 2025, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Richard Menning officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of the service.
