WE CHANGED IT TO PUSH THE OBITURARY TO THE TOP OF THE VIEWING LIST*** Lois Jean "Roz" Rosnow Rupple, age 86, of Santa Rosa, CA and Shawano, WI, passed away on January 9, 2015 in Santa Rosa. Roz was born on December 5, 1928, the daughter of the late Arthur and Dolores (Samp) Rosnow. She graduated from Shawano High School and attended the University of Wisconsin Madison where she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. Roz was united in marriage to John Rupple on January 13, 1999 in Santa Rosa. She was a stewardess for United Airlines and ran an automobile leasing company. Roz was involved with AWVS - American Women's Voluntary Service, Pals for Palsy, Clipped Wings - United Airlines for mentally handicapped children and adults, was a member of both St. Martin Catholic Church in Cecil and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano. Roz loved playing bridge with the ladies, golfing, hosting dinner parties for friends and traveling. Roz is survived by her husband, John, her nieces, Terri (Charles) Bridges of Sacramento, CA and Jan Rosnow of OK, her nephew, William (Kathy) Rosnow of Green Bay, her step-daughters, Beth Rupple and Lisa (Brad) Muller, her step-son, Paul (Andrea) Rupple, 8 step-grandchildren and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Jerry Rosnow, 3 step-sons, Jeffrey, John and Mark Rupple. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano with Rev. Luke Ferris officiating. Entombment will be in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
