Obituary

Lori Caldwell, age 55, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, in Green Bay. Lori was born on March 7, 1971, in Chicago, Illinois to Colin F. Caldwell, Sr., and the late Kathleen Crowe. She grew up in Chicago, attending school in Flandreau Indian School in South Dakota and Menominee High School before going to college. During high school she was a passionate cheerleader and later became the high school cheerleading coach. Lori worked various jobs including factory work in Green Bay. She had a beautiful singing voice and loved to show it off while singing 80’s R&B music along with dancing. Lori was very artistic and could draw anything. She was a happy person who would go rummaging and liked to spruce up her home. Lori enjoyed working out at home, riding her motorcycle and was a great cook especially her frybread. She loved traveling places especially with her cousin, Brenda. Overall, Lori was a social butterfly but could be sassy, energetic and feisty; she will be deeply missed.

Lori is survived by her children, Sheldon (Marie Alloway) Waupochick, Lauren Putnum, Keetan Whitmore and Cody Whitmore; parents, Colin, Sr., and Barbara Caldwell; grandchildren, Vincent Lee Jolly, Trent Royal Waupochick, Adam Waukau, III., Blaire Putnum and Miguel Escalante; siblings, Robin Waukau, Colin Caldwell, Jr., Brian Caldwell and Lisa Caldwell; and special cousins, Brenda Johnson and Jerilyn Soto. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lori is preceded in death by her mother, Kathleen Caldwell; two special cousins, Jerimiah Crowe and Stanley “Googs” Grignon; and special aunt, Marlene Caldwell. She is further preceded in death by numerous other family members.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation will be held at the Neopit Community Center starting on Sunday, May 10, 2026, from 1:30 pm until the time of service on Tuesday.
