Lorraine "Lola" M. Boivin, age 86, of De Pere, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015 in Green Bay. Lorraine was born on August 22, 1928, in Keshena, the daughter of the late Henry and Grace (Grignon) Martin. On September 13, 1947, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Keshena, she was united in marriage to Phillip Boivin. Phillip preceded her in death on October 30, 1993. Lorraine enjoyed being a foster parent and caring for her siblings. She also loved playing bingo and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Lorraine is survived by her three children, Audrey (Mike) Long of Keshena, Michael (Wanda) Boivin of Green Bay, and Laletta Boivin of Michigan; four sisters, Augustine "Cerie" Lloyd of Coos Bay, Oregon, Frances "Jeannie" Pyawasay of Shawano, Clara "Dolly" Stone of Keshena, and Grace "Jiggs" Martin of Keshena. She is further survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip, one daughter, Elizabeth, her parents, two brothers, Wayne and Franklin "John Dee", and one sister, Theresa A. Martin. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Keshena with Rev. David McElroy O.Praem officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano and again at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. A parish wake service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
