Lorraine A. Busch, age 91, of Bonduel, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 after a recent illness.
Lorraine was born in the Town of Washington, Shawano County, on June 26, 1924 to the late Edward and Marie (Hinkfuss) Radloff.
On November 7, 1942, in Abilene, TX, she was united in marriage to Leonard Busch.
Leonard preceded her in death on March 19, 2002.
She worked as a bookkeeper at Heck Hardware Store for 35 years. Faith was very important to Lorraine.
She loved being a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, where she was active with the Altar Guild and enjoyed working on the church bulletins.
She enjoyed volunteering at the Bonduel Community Archives, and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She also volunteered to read to the second grade children at St. Paul Lutheran School.
Lorraine loved photography and used her prints to make picture albums.
She loved her family and friends, and enjoyed traveling to see them in Alaska, Oregon, and Green Bay.
She kept in touch with them through Facebook, Skype, and email.
Her greatest joy was being able to attend all the birthday parties of all the great-grandchildren in Green Bay.
As an avid Green Bay Packer fan, she never missed a game on tv.
Lorraine was an active, independent woman with a great sense of humor and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Lorraine is survived by:
her four children, Daniel (Randy) Busch of Alaska, Tamra (Mack) Busch-Johnsen of Oregon, Brad (Mary) Busch of Green Bay, and Jeff (Robyn) Busch of Oregon; eight grandchildren, Brandon and Travis Johnsen, Kelley (Tom) Tessman, Amanda (David) Kaminski, Tara (Shawn) Hill, Ryan Doel, John (Michelle) Doel, and Nicholai Busch.
She is further survived by 10 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Noah, Gavin, Landon, Aiden, Layla, Liam, Olivia, Claire, and Greta; and one sister, Darlene Burch of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; her parents, and one sister, Leona Genke.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 7, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel with Rev. Timothy Shoup officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Sunday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
