Lorraine Delores Swett, age 83, of Keshena, passed away on October 16, 2024, in Shawano. Lorraine was born in Keshena on April 13, 1941, daughter of the late Mitchell and Elvira (Oshkenaniew) Reiter. Lorraine was united in marriage September 15, 1961, to Paul D. Swett Sr. in Milwaukee. Paul preceded Lorraine in death June 20, 2018. Lorraine was employed as a  preschool teacher, nurse's assistant at Keshena Hospital and St. Vincents Hospital and a cashier. She was a foster parent to many. She loved traveling, especially Branson, Missouri and  Wisconsin Dells. In Lorraine's free time she enjoyed ceramics, thrifting, playing slots and bingo at the casino. Lorraine held a special place in her heart for family and her pets, Smokey in Germany, Buttons, Baby, and Tipper.

Lorraine is survived by daughters, Paula (Mike) Starks, Lana (Anthony) Holzendorf, Eleanor Swett, Donna Smith, Carla Hernandez, Paula Swett; sons, Wayne Swett, David (Allison) Swett, Tony Swett, George Swett, Tom Swett and Tim (Arisbe) Swett; 32 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Harriet (Warren Reiter) Schyler. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband, Paul; son, Paul "Dooner" Swett Jr.; grandchildren, Brooklynn and Elijah; parents, Mitchell and Elvira; and siblings, Kenneth Reiter, Warren Reiter, Lyle Reiter and Jean Webster.

A funeral service for Lorraine will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation will be held at Father David Barret Hall in Keshena from 3:00 pm on Thursday, October 17, 2024, until the time of service on Saturday. A wake service will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday October 18, 2024. Burial will be held at St. Michael's Cemetery following the service.
