Louis Anthony Perez, age 86, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021, at home. He was born on March 28, 1935, to the late Camilo and Mary (Kinepaway) Perez in Keshena. Louis was united in marriage to Patricia Pocan who preceded him in death. He served in the United States Army in Korea. Louis was a self-employed logger and worked for Forest Edge Lumberyard in Keshena. He enjoyed working with his hands and did woodworking.

He is survived by his children: Louis (Michelle) Perez, Kerry Lee Perez, Kenny "Buller" (Dena) Perez, Sr., James Lyons, Sr., Penny Lyons, and Kevin Lyons, several grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and brothers: Robert (Nita) Perez and Renford (Lela) Perez. Louis is further survived by several nieces, nephews, Godchildren, other relatives and friends.

Louis is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, son, Ricky Lyons, and brothers and sisters: Donald Kinepaway, Benjamin Perez, Clarence Perez, Betty Bailey, Ramona Fish, and Gaynell Maho.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with military honors performed at the funeral home by Veterans of the Menominee Nation and the Keshena American Legion. Friends may visit the family beginning at 12:30 pm on Sunday at the funeral home until the time of military honors.
