Louis A. Perez III, age 40, of Green Bay, formerly of Keshena, passed away on Wednesday November 6, 2024, in Green Bay. Louis was born on September 17, 1984, in Shawano to Jamie Smith and Louis Perez, Jr. He graduated from the Menominee Indian High School. Louis served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Iraq War. On January 13, 2006, Louis was united in marriage to Darla Reiter. The couple spent a wonderful 14 years together before her passing in 2020. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking, spending time with his family and loved watching sports and playing video games with his brothers and sons whenever he could. Louis is an active member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit.

Louis is survived by his children, Kaylyn, Jermaine, Louis IV and Shaylee; mother, Jamie; father, Louis, Jr.; grandmother, Robin Smith; and brothers, Richard (Tara) Perez and Justin Perez. He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A funeral mass for Louis will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday November 9, 2024, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation will be held at the family residence N655 Chief Little Crow Road Keshena, on Thursday November 7, 2024, starting at 6:00 pm and continues until 10:00 am on Saturday when the procession leaves for the church. Military Honors will be conducted by the Veterans of Menominee Nation and Keshena American Legion Post #497.
