Obituary

Louise W. Gutt, age 85, of Shawano, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016. Louise was born in Wilmington, NC on April 10, 1931, the daughter of the late Ray H. and Ada (Russell) Warren. She was baptized in the Methodist Church in NC, graduated from Richland High School, and later attended St. Mary's Junior College. Louise was in Civil Service at Camp Lejeune, where she met Donald E. Gutt. On August 30, 1952, Louise and Don were united in marriage in Jacksonville, NC. She worked for Hoeper Insurance of Shawano, Shawano County Agent Office, Shawano County Library, Wisconsin Finance, and Shawano High School. Louise was a member of St. James Church in Shawano, St. James Tabatha, and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Louise is survived by: her husband of 63 years, Don, their children, Donna Lou (Scott) Biebel and Lisa Lin Gutt and two grandchildren, William S. Biebel and Mallory (fiancé, Dennis Kinchen) Biebel.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Ray, Earl, and Preston Warren.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano with Rev. Ted Andrada officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of the service.
