Lovely "Ann" Usack, age 70, of Bonduel, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in DePere. Ann was born in the Town of Ford, Taylor County, WI on February 6, 1947, the daughter of Helen (Przybylski) Chaplinski and the late Victor Chaplinski. She served in the United States Air Force from 1965-1968 during the Vietnam Era before being honorably discharged. On September 11, 1971, Ann was united in marriage to Larry J. Usack in Medford. Ann was an animal lover and owning two horses and 15 cats she believed highly in the humane treatment of animals. She lived in the Bonduel area for 17 years and enjoyed gardening, sewing, needlework and antique sales. Ann was an active member of St. Martin Catholic Church in Cecil where she was involved in the Woman's Club and the food pantry.
Ann is survived by: her husband, Larry; one son, Nikolai Usack; one granddaughter, Helena; her mother, Helen Chaplinski; her brother, William (Lynn) Chaplinski and her sister, Antoinette (Daniel) Reichow.
She was preceded in death by her father, Victor Chaplinski.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at St. Martin Catholic Church in Cecil with Deacon Mike Grzeca and Rev. Luke Ferris officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Bonduel American Legion Post #217. Inurnment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of the service. Memorials may be directed to the Shawano County Humane Society or Sam's 25.
