Lucas Brent Gardner, age 26, born September 17, 1991 and began his journey into the Spirit world on November 23, 2017. Lucas blessed us with his early presence and departed way too young.

Lucas lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but spent a lot of time with this grandmother and aunty in Arizona. Lucas was a 2010 graduate of Bowler High School, where he excelled in basketball and found his love of boxing and was known for his special skills with his straight right hand. He competed in the Indigenous games in Denver, Colorado in 2006 and earned a gold medal in boxing.  He worked in construction with his uncle in NM and Arizona, and most recently took up home health care to assist with the care for his brother, Jered Corn.  Lucas will be remembered for his caring heart, his bright smile, crazy antics and quick wit, but mostly for his loyalty to family and friends.

He is survived by and will be dearly missed by his family; father Louis Gardner, of Bowler, WI, grandmother Nancy Gardner, of Bowler, WI, Aunty Denall & Uncle Bruce Moore, of Chandler, AZ; uncle Wesley Gardner, of Wittenberg, WI, mother LeeAnn Corn, of Milwaukee, WI, brother Jered Corn, of Milwaukee, WI, sisters Josie Gardner, of St. Germain, WI; Marissa & Sierra Hill, of Milwaukee, WI and a special niece; Nayeli (Nay), of Milwaukee, WI; he is further survived by numerous cousins, other family and friends from the Stockbridge-Munsee Reservation, Menominee Reservation and the Milwaukee area, along with his beloved pet; Zue

Lucas was preceded in death by his grandfather, Leroy Gardner.
