Lucille M. (Tyler) Daniel, age 93 of Shawano, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Evergreen Healthcare Center in Shawano, WI. Lucille was born on September 22, 1927, to the late Frank and Emma (Janke) Tyler in Shiocton, WI. In 1948, she was united in marriage to Clarence Daniel. They had one son Keith. Clarence preceded Lucille in death in 1982. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

For years, Lucille had a large vegetable and flower garden. She had her raspberries, plums and grapes to tend to and made delicious jellies and deserts. The winters were long while living at her Shawano Lake home. Each day she would record the daily high and low temperatures. Lucille also kept a record of the date that the ice went out on the lake.

The holiday season kept her busy baking dozens of different varieties of cookies. She found great pleasure arranging beautiful trays of cookies and giving them to family, friends, and neighbors.

Lucille is survived by her son, Keith A. Daniel (Mary Lee Maki); sister, Joyce (Allan) Chady of Arizona; and sister-in-law, Beatrice (Jerome) Turner. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; parents, Frank and Emma Tyler; brothers, Raymond Tyler and Gerald Tyler; and sisters-in-law, Lavina (Lee) Schingler and Margaret (Ron) Boelter.

Due to COVID-19 a memorial service will be held for Lucille at a later date. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Feeding America, your local food pantry, or helping others in need.
