Luella Mildred Krueger, age 96, of Shawano, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Birch Hill. Luella was born in the Town of Richmond on July 24, 1919, the daughter of the late Theodore and Laura (Beversdorf) Meyer. On October 21, 1944, Luella was united in marriage to Gilbert L. Krueger. Gilbert preceded her in death on February 8, 2001. She and Gilbert owned and operated a farm in the Town of Richmond all their married life. Luella was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano and enjoyed hunting, gardening, her dog, and cats. Luella is survived by her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert, her son, Jerry Krueger, her parents, and one brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Adeline Meyer. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2015 at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano with Rev. Ted Andrada officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
