Lyle Milo Kreier, age 74, of Keshena, passed away at his home on Monday, June 11, 2018. Lyle was born on June 15, 1943 in Poynette, WI, son of the late Milo and Belle (Oehlert) Kreier. He served our country by entering the United States Navy in 1961, working as a machinist until his honorable discharge in 1963. Lyle liked working on small engines and was an enthusiastic model plane and train hobbyist. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include: his wife, Myrtle; two children, Lynn Kreier and Larry (Terri) Kreier; three grandchildren, Sebastian Lincoln, Justin Kreier and Alicia Kreier; and two sisters, Adelle Hughes and Lois Yonkee.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church in Shawano with Rev. Scott Ludford officiating. Visitation will be held at the Kreier residence, W718 Twin Oak Road in Keshena from 11:30 am on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 until the procession leaves for the church Friday morning. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, June 14, 2018. Military honors will be conducted by the Veterans of the Menominee Nation at the Kreier residence on Friday at 9:30am.
