Mabel Lucille Teschner, age 100 of Shawano, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020. Mabel was born on February 16, 1920, in Alturas, California, to the late Harry and Ella (Beebe) Russell. On June 1, 1938, Mabel was united in marriage to Odin Stahlschmidt in Carson City, Nevada. Odin preceded her in death on November 24, 1981. In 1984 in Fredricksberg, Texas, Mabel was united in marriage to her second husband Harry Teschner until his passing. She was a seamstress in her younger years and worked for Badger Ammunition. Mabel loved sewing, quilting, cake decorating, and painting.
Mabel is survived by her daughter, Linda Bangert of Wisconsin; son, Edgar Stahlschmidt of Colorado; grandchildren, Joanne Dulaney, Sara (Doug) DeBord, Kathryn (Eric) Schaper, David Bangert, and Dalinda (Aaron Bohrer) Bangert; great-grandchildren, Tonya Cortez, Robert Cortez, Amanda Ruiz, Scott (Marissa) Isenberg, Ben (Marion) Isenberg, Savannah (Brian Frailey) Isenberg, Taylor (Onna Wallace) Bangert, Darian (Eryn) Bangert, Chauncey Bangert, Jessica Forsyth, Zackary Sheppard, Alicia Shakett, Veronica (Andrew) Lehman, and Amber (Terry) Sage; great-great-grandchildren, Blayne, Jackson, Cassie, Lachlan, Guy, Isabella, Jane, Bailey, Alex, Rebecca, Adam, Ellie, Madison, Haddy, Terry Lee, and Weston Lee; and daughter-in-law, Joni Stahlschmidt. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Odin Stahlschmidt; second husband, Harry Teschner; son, Donald Stahlschmidt; parents, Harry and Ella Russell; and siblings, Kate "Kitty" Russell, Charles Russell, James "Jess" Russell, Harry "Bill" Russell, Art Russell, and Raymond Russell.
Services for Mabel will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 30, 2020 at Greenwood Cemetery in Fredericksburg, Texas. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm until the time of service. Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg, Texas will be assisting the family with services.
