Madeline Alma Tauscher, age 79, of Pulaski, formerly of Gillett, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Saturday, December 10, 2016 in Green Bay. Born in Brown County on August 3, 1937, she is the daughter of the late Walter and Florence (Vanden Plas) Nooyen.  On December 27, 1958, Madeline was united in marriage to Gerald J. Tauscher in New Franken.  He preceded her in death on April 10, 2008.  Madeline and Gerald farmed and raised their family in Oneida and later in the Town of Underhill.  She is a member of Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church in Pulaski and enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family, and doing activities at Pulaski Adult Activity Center.

Madeline is survived by: her children, Edward (Michelle) Tauscher, Charles (Brenda) Tauscher, James Tauscher, Patrick (Anna Marie) Tauscher, Christy (Andy) Piepkorn, Sally (Shane) Piepkorn, Sherri (Louis) Szczepanski, Shirley (Daniel) Szczepanski, and Susan (Allan) Szczepanski; seventeen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Norbert (Jackie) Nooyen and Bernard (Shirley) Nooyen; and one sister, Barbara Buhr.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Gerald; two sons, Leonard and Matthew; her parents and one sister, Elaine.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 16th at St. Joseph's Church in Oneida. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Oneida following the funeral. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 16th at St. Joseph's Church from 9:00 – 10:45 AM.
