Marcelino "Nino" Heredia, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday March 2, 2024, in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia. Nino was born on August 9, 1975, in Chicago, Illinois to Aleta (Fish) Menore and the late Clifford Olson, Sr. He graduated from high school in Chicago. Marcelino lived in Denver, CO, and Milwaukee, WI for many years. Nino was passionate about his beadwork and listening to music. He was a fun loving and caring man. Nino had endless loyalty to his family. His family and especially his children were his highest priority. Nino would stand up for his family. He had a keen fashion sense and was known to dress nicely. Nino loved being able to provide gifts and take care of his nieces and nephews in any way. He always did his best to better himself and he will be dearly missed.
Nino is survived by his children, Nino Olson, Jr., Donovan Olson and Shyanne Olson; three grandchildren, Nino Cheyenne Olson Jr., Elias Xavier Olson, and Jedidiah Liwann Olson; special friend, Jenny Peters; siblings, Clarence "Joe" Fish III, Shelby Montya, Rosa Madosh and Donovan Crowe; special nephews, Jerome Crowe, David Kinney, and Eric Olson; and special nieces, Jacqueline Olson, Aleta Kinney, and Alecia Kinney. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends.
Nino is preceded in death by his father, Clifford Olson, Sr.; brothers, Max Crowe, Jr and John David. He is further preceded in death by his large extended family.
A funeral mass for Nino will be held at 11:00 am on Friday March 15, 2024, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Keshena with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Burial will be at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Aleta Menore residence N2025 Elm Street Neopit starting on Wednesday March 13, 2024, from 5:00 pm until the time of procession.
