Margery H. Muck, age 88, of Shawano, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016.
Margery was born in the Town of Washington, Shawano County on April 21, 1927, to the late Henry and Hulda (Matthe) Meisner.
On July 20, 1946 she was united in marriage to Robert Muck at Peace Evangelical and Reform Church in Shawano.
Robert and Margery owned and operated a dairy farm for many years.
Margie also did the bookkeeping for several other area businesses.
In her free time she enjoyed being active with Lady Loons, several homemakers groups, Ducks Unlimited, Peace United Church of Christ, as well as 4-H where she volunteered as a leader for over 50 years.
Margery also served as the Town Clerk for the Town of Herman for several years.
Margery is survived by: her three children, Susan Braner of Nevada, Steven Muck of Shawano, and Stuart (Jane) Muck of Fond du Lac; four grandchildren, Sandra (Brett) Long of Washington, Laura Braner of Nevada, Eric (Lilian) Braner of Nevada, and Kathleen Muck of Fond du Lac; one great-grandson Hunter and another great grandchild on the way.
She is further survived by two sister, June Bohm of Florida and Lillian Mehlhorn of Shawano as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents, and a sister Loretta Rusch.
A funeral service for Margery will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Peace United Church of Christ in Shawano with Rev. Marty Black officiating.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery of Shawano.
Visitation will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Margery's family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Paiser's Oak Haven for the wonderful care they gave Margery during her time there.
