Marian Shirley Teckam, age 97, passed away on Tuesday April 29, 2025, in Kaukauna, WI. Marian was the youngest of three children born on July 13, 1927, in Fond Du Lac to the late James and Clara (Weisnicht) Foreman. In 1930, her father, James, passed away in a car accident, and the family moved to the Bonduel area. In 1944, her mother, Clara, re-married Clarence Peterson; the family moved to Jewett, Ohio, where Marian graduated from Jewett High School in 1945.

Following high school, she and her sister moved back to Wisconsin and worked in Milwaukee where she met Harven Teckam. After marriage the couple moved to Omaha, Nebraska and after six years moved to Middleton, Wisconsin. In 1967, Marian and her three children moved to Shawano; where she worked at the Marsh Clinic until her retirement. In her younger years, she loved to play golf and go bowling. Marian was an avid reader and enjoyed putting together jig-zaw puzzles. She was a life member of Shawano Order Eastern Star and was very active in the Jerusalem Cemetery Society.

Marian is survived by her son, Tom Teckam; foster son, John Beaulieu; grandchildren, Jason (Becky) Teckam, Carrie Field and Heather Zahringer; great-grandchildren, Henry, Simon, Elizabeth, Rebecca, John and Cameron; great-great-grandchildren, Ja'Kayla, Ja'Myra, Belle, Luca and Royal; sister, Lurlyn "Tudy" (Gene) Cebulski; and extended family, John and Lynnae Zahringer, Norma, Ben and Kelsey Elsner, Norma and Morris Foreman, and Faye Swiecichowski. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Marian is preceded in death by son, Tim; daughter, Pam and Allen Jensen; brother, James Foreman; parents, James and Clara; and stepfather, Clarence

A funeral service for Marian will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday May 5, 2025, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Pastor Joe Carlson officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from noon until the time of service. Burial will be at Jerusalem Cemetery.
