Marianne (Sheetz) Davis, age 69, passed away on Saturday February 4, 2023, in Shawano, WI due to natural causes. Marianne was born on October 12, 1953, to the late Orville and Sara (Miller) Davis in Monroe, WI. Marianne grew up in Argyle, WI on a farm where she enjoyed riding horses and raising animals. She graduated from Argyle High School, then went on to graduate from college at UW Platteville. Marianne moved to Chili, WI to raise her children with Bruce and became an art teacher at Sunburst, and then went on to become a substitute teacher in the public school system. She retired to Plover, WI to be close to family. In Marianne's spare time she enjoyed reading, drawing, crocheting, painting, ceramics, and listening to music; she shared these passions with her family in her retirement. She will always be remembered as a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother and a great storyteller.

Marianne is survived by her daughters, Katie (Dakota) Petts, and Samantha Sheetz; her granddaughters Evelyn and Sylvia Petts; her former husband Bruce Sheetz; brother-in-law Stan Smith; her niece Marla (Todd) Erdman; her great-niece Selena (Geoffrey) Clark. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Marianne is preceded in death by her parents; her son Benjamin; her sister Barbara Smith; her cousin Pat Smith.

A luncheon will be held at Yellowstone Golf Course Blanchardville, WI June 3rd at Noon.
