Marion L. Read, 93 of Shawano passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at a local nursing home. Born on October 28, 1917 in Seward Township, Kendall County, IL she was the daughter of the late James and Lulu (Carr) Schofield. She married Donald L. Read on February 3, 1940 at Lake Geneva. He preceded her in death on August 29, 1978. Marion was a member of Peace United Church of Christ, Shawano. Marion is survived by: 2 daughters; Janet Stevenson of Whitewater, Debra (Jeffrey) Reinke of Bonduel, 2 sons; Duane L. (Billie Jo) Read of Bonduel, Frederick A. Read of Albuquerque, NM, 7 grandchildren; Dianne (Jay) Jackson, David Read, Paul Read, Deanna Read, Meghan (AJ) Diemel, Andrea (Andy Dekeyser) Reinke, Caitlin Reinke, 4 great grandchildren, and a brother, Robert L. (Cynthia) Schofield of Lake Geneva. Burial will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Geneva.
