Marisa Rycroft, age 58, of Shawano, passed away on January 9, 2018 in Appleton, WI. Marisa was born in Ithaca, NY on May 20, 1959, the daughter of Salvatore and Ida (DiPerna) Biasillo. On November 21, 1992, Marisa was united in marriage to Herbert E. Rycroft in Jacksonville, NY. The couple moved to Shawano, WI in 1999. Marisa worked as the Bid Coordinator for Shawano. She was truly a people person and gave back to the community in many ways, including volunteering for Junior Achievement, Shawano Dollars for Scholars, Toys for Tots, and the First Presbyterian Church, where she was a member. She relished being outdoors and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her greatest loves were her husband, children and grandchildren. Marisa will be remembered for her infectious smile and her unshakable faith.
Marisa is survived by: three children, Kelly (Jason) Brown of Ithaca, NY, Kristin (Ben) Ink of Ithaca, NY and Adam Rycroft of Minneapolis, MN; four grandchildren, Mackenzie, Spencer, Skylar and Kaelyn, as well as one on the way; her mother, Ida Biasillo of Virginia; her brother, Enzo (Julie) Biasillo of Warrenton, VA; her sister, Sandra (Jon) Little of Arlington, VA; along with extended family and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herb on February 10, 2012 and her father, Salvatore.
A memorial service for Marisa will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church in Shawano with Rev. Blake Blakesley officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday at the church from 9:00 am until the time of the service.
A memorial fund has been established.
