Marjorie Ann (Ready) Ainsworth , age 76, passed away from ovarian cancer April 21, 2016 at her home while surrounded by her family.

Marjorie born Sept. 17th, 1939 to the late Edwin and Margaret (Schmidt) Ready. She lived on the family farm in the town of Herman and attended the one-room Hohn Grade School. After graduating from Gresham High School in 1957, she worked at Badger Breeders (Genex) until her marriage on September 30, 1961 to John H. Ainsworth. After marriage she worked part-time for Consolidated Badger, Palmer's Bakery and Hardees Restaurant. The couple lived their entire life on their farm near Shawano.

Marjorie served as legal guardians to her two youngest siblings after her mother's passing.

Margie enjoyed gardening and canning fruits, vegetables, jellies and jams. She was an excellent baker of all types of yeast breads, doughnuts and coffee cakes, pies, and cookies. She enjoyed shopping, travel, non-fiction books, and keeping up with current news events from local to international. Most importantly, she worked full time for most her life being a mom and her most cherished moments where those spent with her grandchildren at their special events and celebrations.

In addition to her husband of 54 years, Margie is survived by their four children; Kevin (Joan) Ainsworth of Shawano, and their children Samantha and Matthew; Toni (Jerry) Read of Oak Creek, WI, and their children Elizabeth and John; Kathy (Dave) Parrish of Westerville, OH, and their children Michelle, Cara, and Alaina; and Jim (Nancy) Ainsworth of Shawano and their two children Jenna and Erik.

Also surviving are three brothers, Edwin (Beverly) Ready, Ringle, WI; Allen (Rose) Ready, San Francisco, CA; Richard (Jean) Ready Shawano; and two sisters Carol Ready and Judy (John) Ready both of Green Bay.

She is further survived by two aunts Bernice Zahn, Clintonville and Irene Jarvis, Bear Creek along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Marjorie was an active and faithful member first of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Leopolis and later of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano. She was a charter member of the Flour Queens Homemakers Club and a member of the Lake Country Republican Women with an almost insatiable appetite for political talk shows.
