Obituary

Marjoryann M. Giese, age 89, of Gillett passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018 in Gillett. Born in Shawano on December 26, 1928, she is the daughter of the late Fred and Sylvia (Boettcher) Miller. On June 7, 1947, Marjory was united in marriage to Leonard W. Giese. The couple lived in Milwaukee for several years before returning to Gillett, where she worked in the lunch room at Gillett schools for 25 years. She is a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Gillett and enjoyed camping, fishing and watching the birds. More than anything, Marjory loved spending time with her family.

Marjory is survived by: her children, Carol (Rod) Daniels, Barbara (Pat Forst) Giese and Randy (Lorie) Giese all of Green Bay; three grandchildren, Chris (Tracy) Giese, Jesse and Josh Walkush; seven great-grandchildren, Amber, Colin and Ian Weiss, Alexis, Haley and Tuff Giese, Zane Davies, Gavin and Garrett Bergemann, Brittney and Cole Walkush; great-great granddaughter Jamala; her siblings, Deloue "Buck" Miller, David Miller and Madeline Talmage; and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marlene and Reynold Schmidt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; one son, Gerald "Jerry" Giese in 2004; her parents; and one sister, Betsy McDermot.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 23, 2018 at St. John Lutheran Church in Gillett with Rev. Kent Wallace officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of the services.
