Mark A. Klosterman, age 61, of Freedom, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2024, at HCA West Marion Hospital, Ocala Florida. The illness was a constant battle of the MSA for several years. He was born on April 29, 1962, to Marvin and Althea (Stern) Klosterman in Peru, Indiana. He was baptized at St. John's Lutheran Church in Peru, Indiana. Mark attended St. John's Lutheran School and graduated from Peru High School with the class of 1980. Fishing was his favorite hobby, along with riding motorcycles with his friends. He was most interested in farming, so naturally, he attended Purdue University, earning his associate degree in 1983.After moving to the small town of Freedom, WI, he met Evonne. They were united in marriage at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel on March 14, 2009. Together they went on many road trips with their Honda Gold Wing motorcycle across the United States. Mark worked at Thilmany Paper Mill in Kaukauna until his health took its toll and he retired after 27 years. Mark's family was very important to him, including his extended family. He will be dearly missed.

Mark is survived by his wife of 15 years, Evonne (Lass) Klosterman; his stepchildren Zarick and Malia; his parents Marvin and Althea Klosterman; his sisters Andrea (Mike) Miller, Amy (Jeff) Marcel; his mother-in-law Pauline Lass; nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Uncle & Aunt.

A funeral service for Mark will be held on Monday March 25, 2024, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel with Pastor Timothy Shoup officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am and continue until the time of service at 11:00 am.
