Marlene Joyce Lane, age 85 of Shawano, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. Marlene was born on August 13, 1934 in Caroline, to the late Alex and Esther (Doede) Fischer. In 1950 Marlene was united in marriage to Jerome Lane in Shawano. Marlene was a kind and giving person. She loved cooking and made a wonderful potato salad that she enjoyed sharing with neighbors and friends. Marlene was a great mom and a wonderful grandmother who loved her family dearly. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Marlene is survived by her children, Marsha Johnson and Randy (Sherrie) Lane; numerous grandchildren; a brother Ronald Fischer; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Marlene is preceded in death by her husband; children, Ricky and Brenda; her parents; sisters, Shirley and Myrna; and brothers, Gordon, Donald, Merlyn, Gerald, Norman, and Dorance.

Inurnment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
