Marsha A. "Susie" Ziemer, age 57 of the Town of Red Springs, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011 in Appleton. Born on July 14, 1953 in Shawano, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Mildred (Westphal) Tetting. On July 13, 1973 she was united in marriage to James Ziemer in Shawano. Marsha operated Susie's Café in Gresham and also worked at the North Star Casino. In her free time, she enjoyed camping, knitting, snowmobiling, fishing and boating. She was a member of the Shawano V.F.W. Post #2723 Auxiliary.

Marsha is survived by: her husband, James; 2 sons, Mark (Angie) Siemer of Bowler and Chris (Jamie) Ziemer of Bonduel; 4 stepchildren, Daniel Ziemer of Bear Creek, Douglas (Sue) Ziemer of Clintonville, Debbie (Matt) Lapp of Clintonville, and David (Theresa) Ziemer of Marion; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Debbie (Greg) Muzik of Kiel, Pat (Larry) Oinas of Shawano, and Peggy (Glen) Votipka of Pelzer, SC; a brother, Mike (Joyce) Tetting of Grand Rapids, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marsha was preceded in death by: a son, Scott in infancy; and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday June 10, 2011 at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Rev. Loretta Waegli officiating. A V.F.W. Auxiliary Service will be conducted by the Shawano V.F.W. Post #2723 Auxiliary. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 pm and on Friday after 9:30 am until the time of service.
