Mary E. Daebler, age 89, passed away on Saturday October 19, 2024, in Shawano. Mary was born in 1934, in Middletown, Ohio to the late Claude and Elaine (Johnson) Meeks. She loved family and to cook for friends and her neighbors. Mary hosted many family holidays. She was a cheerleader, Boy Scout Leader, Sunday School teacher, and enjoyed many other activities. She was also the very first Ladie's President at Golden Sands Gold Course. Mary moved 39 times in and out of state and met many wonderful people along the way. She could be cantankerous at times but would also give you the shirt off her back. Mary visited Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Bahamas and enjoyed living in Florida for many years until moving back to Shawano to be with her family. Thanks for the memories, see you again someday. To her surviving classmates, she truly was one of the luckiest kids in the world.

Mary is survived by her children, Beth (Kim) Thompson, Becky White and David Rodefer; grandchildren, Jesse Thompson, Zachary White, Seth White and Austin Flanigan; great-grandchildren, Sydney Thompson and Tyler Thompson; sister, Janet Hogg; brother, Paul David Meeks; and best friend, Pauline Issen.

Mary is preceded in death by her siblings, Phyllis Reece, Dionne Meeks, Dick Meeks, Sue Ann Meeks and Nancy Meeks; and parents, Claude and Elaine.
