Mary Ann Hill, age 84 of Shawano, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015 in Shawano. Mary Ann was born on July 14, 1930 in Sault Saint Marie, MI, the daughter of the late Anthony and Mabel (Shaker) Booth. Mary Ann graduated from Edward W. Sparrow School of Nursing in 1953. On October 17, 1953 she was united in marriage to John W. Hill in Sault Saint Marie. They lived in Southern Wisconsin, Rockford, IL, and Dallas, TX, before moving to Shawano in 1993 after retiring. Mary Ann served on the Board of Goldie Flowberg Home for crippled children in Rockford. Mary Ann is survived by her husband, John, 1 son, Mark (Ann) Hill of Bainbridge Island, WA, 2 grandchildren, Claire (Graham) Watts and Charlotte Hill both of Seattle, WA, and 1 brother Denny Booth of Indian Wells, CA. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church in Shawano with Rev. Susan Phillips officiating with spring burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 am until the time of the services.
