Mary Louise Maule, age 81, of Shawano passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday January 14, 2026, in Bonduel. Mary was born on May 19, 1944, in New Berlin, Wisconsin to the late Charles and Viola (Stoeber) Denz. On April 24, 1965, she was united in marriage to Gerald "Jerry" Maule. The couple spent a wonderful 23 years together before Jerry's passing in 1988. After Jerry's passing, Mary went back to school at NWTC earning her degree as a medical assistant. She worked at ThedaCare until retiring in 2013. Mary had a fighting spirit and was a breast cancer survivor. While working at ThedaCare she was proud to be a part of the outreach program for breast cancer patients. In her free time Mary enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with friends and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family.

Mary is survived by her children, John (Laurie) Maule and Jodi (Dale) Leverenz; grandchildren, Morgan (Matt) Maley, Bryce Maule, Jacob (Mercedes) Leverenz, and Wyatt Leverenz; and great-grandchildren, Dylan, Paisley, Scarlett, Madison and Monroe; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Marcia Maule, Tom and Claudia Maule, and Bill and Kathy Maule. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald "Jerry" Maule; parents, Charles and Viola; and siblings, Bob (Pat) Denz; Don Denz, Jack (Mary) Denz and Carol (Dick) Bachmann.

A memorial service for Mary will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday January 24, 2026, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Cecil with Deacon Todd Raether officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of the service. Inurnment will be in St. Martins Catholic Cemetery in the spring.
