Mary Jane "MJ" Zimmerman, age 62, of Shawano, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. MJ was born on July 12, 1957 to the late Richard and Olive (Neconish) Zimmerman. MJ was one of the most loving, caring, friendly and kind people that you would ever meet. MJ loved life and she showed it each day. She had one of the biggest smiles and a welcoming wave to anyone she met. MJ also had a great sense of humor and she had one of the best laughs, it was loud and sometimes she would laugh so hard that she would have to be told to breathe. She was a great friend and she touched so many peoples' lives with her love. MJ loved her cat Grace. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. MJ now can walk, talk, and dance with her one true love, Elvis.

MJ is survived by her siblings, caregivers and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service for MJ will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Thursday at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
