Mary Jo Pecore, age 48, of Shawano, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday January 21, 2025. She was born in Milwaukee on July 31, 1976. Mary enjoyed feeding and watching her wildlife and took pride in her job as a slot attendant at North Star Casino.

Mary is survived by her companion of over 20 years, Gary Petrich; her pets that she held close to her heart, Buster, Bird, Pickle and Dill; numerous cousins; and many close friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her father, Donald "Pinky" Pecore.

A traditional service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday January 27, 2025, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 9:00 am until the time of service.
