Mary Weier, 61, passed away Thursday June 13, 2019 at St. Luke's hospital from a short battle with cancer. Mary was born April 27, 1958 to the late John and Rita Weier. Mary never let cancer define who she was and even through this fight, smiling and laughter were still part of her everyday routine. She never wanted anyone to worry about her but deep down we all know she loved the attention. She was loved by many and often called "Ma" because she was a mother, grandmother, teacher, therapist, leader, and most of all a friend to everyone she met. Mary was the glue that held the family together.

Mary loved to gamble, travel, spend time with her family; especially her grandchildren. She loved to go camping and crack jokes any chance she could. She also loved to know that people around her were happy. Her one other love was her dog Bentley, whom she loved to spoil and was her 5 ^th child.

Mary is survived by: her daughters, Jamie Weier, Jessica Monroe (Laura Grieger-4 ^th daughter), and Jennifer Monroe; 8 grandchildren,  Derek, Deony, Kitana, Jenny, Darien, Leah, Maleya,  and Ezmae; 4 great grandchildren, Vanessa, Lestat, Kingsley, & Aniyah; 3 brothers,  William (Jennifer), Bob (Jackie), & Bernie (Pat), including many neices and nephews.

There will be at time of sharing at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at noon. Visitation will be on Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of sharing.

Celebration of Life will be held at Jennifer's house on July 6, 2019 from 12p-10p at N2783 Rustic Drive, Clintonville, WI 54929. Next to Sandy Beach in Clover Leaf Lakes.

A special thank you to St. Luke's in Milwaukee. To all the wonderful nurses, especially Kate, Calli, and Emily, they proved us wrong when we thought no one could take care of her like we could. Thank you for all the talks and helping us ease our minds. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.
