Mary Alice Weso, age 75, of Zoar, passed away on Saturday February 17, 2024, surrounded by her family. Mary was born on November 4, 1948, in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Thomas and Viola (Reinhart) Jackson. On June 3, 1973, she was united in marriage to Gerald "Oogie" Weso in Keshena. The couple spend 47 loving years together before Oogie's passing in 2020. Mary enjoyed her job at the casino. In her free time, she loved to play bingo, slots, taking car rides and spending time with her grandchildren. Mary enjoyed listening to Elvis and drinking Pepsi.

Mary is survived by her sons, Sam (Lisa) McBride, Monroe (Ruth) Weso and Nathanial (Amanda) Weso; 13 grandchildren, Brittney, Monroe II, Alana, Ben, Melodie, McKy, Dominic, Owen, Faith, Hope, Emilee, Raven and Renesmee; and two great-grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Oogie; son, Michael; one grandchild, Cori; one brother, Thomas; and parents, Thomas and Viola.

A family and friends gathering will be held from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Wednesday February 21, 2024, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano. Inurnment will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in the spring.
