Mavis Alice Eggert, age 90, of Cecil passed away on Monday September 30, 2024, in Bonduel. Mavis was born on August 28, 1934, in the Town of Green Valley, daughter of the late Elmer and Frieda (Koehler) Naumann, Sr. Mavis graduated from Pulaski High School in 1952. On March 3, 1957, she was united in marriage to Kenneth "Ken" Eggert at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel. The couple farmed and raised their four children in Green Valley.  Mavis was a talented cook and baker who took great pride in keeping everyone fed. She enjoyed gardening and always grew lots of strawberries and pickles among numerous other produce. The most important thing to Mavis was always her family and she dedicated her life to taking care of her husband, children and grandchildren.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed.

Mavis is survived by her husband of 67 years, Ken; children, Faye LeTourneau, Dan (Phyllis) Eggert, Dave (Stephanie) Eggert and Cindy (Carl) Swiecichowski; 13 grandchildren, Jason (Carrie) LeTourneau, Jennifer (Tom) Ryskoski, Andrew LeTourneau, Alicia (Matt) Stern, Barry Eggert, Michael (Jenny) Eggert, Chris Eggert, Mindy (Jake) Reinke, Chris Watters, Noelle (Hunter) McDowell, Holly (Charlie) Henn, Jesse Swiecichowski and Eric (Katie) Swiecichowski; and 16 great-grandchildren, Ava, Carter, Cooper, Paxton, Autumn, Alaina, Ashlyn, Masen, Bobby, Jr., Hailey, Paige, Dayton, Ryker, Lydia, Sloane and Charlotte. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mavis is preceded in death by: two great-grandchildren, Parker and Devin; a son-in-law, Michael LeTourneau; her parents; and siblings, Howard Naumann, Morris Naumann, James Naumann, Elmer Naumann, Jr., Duane Naumann, Alice Voelz, Doris Kumm, Judy Ann Radtke and Joanne Van Cuyk.

A funeral service for Mavis will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday October 5, 2024, at St. John Lutheran Church in Green Valley. Burial will be in the church cemetery following the service. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of the service.
