Mavis Krueger, age 87, of Shawano, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 in Shawano. Born on May 5, 1931, Mavis is the daughter of the late John and Phoebe (Knueppel) Rusch.  Mavis married John Krueger at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel on October 22, 1949.  John preceded Mavis in death.  Mavis was a member of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bonduel.  She enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, raising chickens, and spending time with her family.

Mavis is survived by: three sons, Steven (Brenda) Krueger of Bonduel, Tom (Carol) Krueger of Green Bay, and Kevin (Michelle) Krueger of Pulaski; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a sister, Bernice Weisnicht.

A memorial service for Mavis will be held at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bonduel at 11:00am on Saturday, May 4, 2019 with Rev. Virgil Hansen officiating. Inurnment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30am until the time of the service. Memorials may be directed to the Friedens Organ Fund.
