Maynard Fischer, age 76, of Green Bay, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015 in Green Bay. Maynard was born in Angelica on May 18th, 1938 to the late Adolph and Minnie (Laub) Fischer. Maynard graduated from Devroy College in Milwaukee and went on to work as an electronics repairman. He enjoyed his job and traveled to many parts of the region for work. His faith was also very important to him and he was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Zachow. In his free time he enjoyed walks in the woods and trips to McDonalds. Maynard is survived by: two sisters-in-law, Sharon Fischer and Esther Fischer; as well as nieces and nephews, Gerald Vomastic, Randall Vomastic, Diane (Larry) Banaszynski, Sandy (fiancé Jack) Kozicki, Richard (Julie) Vomastic, Marcia (Blair) Dudek, Terry, Kim, Bryan, April, Patty, Sharmin, Yasmin, Heidi, and Yancy Fischer. He was preceded in death by: his parents; his sister, Norma (Clarence) Vomastic; three brothers, Charles, Bernard, and Adolph Fischer; one sister-in-law, Beverly Fischer; and nephews, Dennis Vomastic and Russell Fischer. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel with Rev. Virgil Hanson officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Chase Cemetery in Sobieski.
