Melody K. Wurth, age 71, of Shawano, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021. Melody was born on October 5, 1949 to the late Fredrick and Ruth (Bohm) Wurth in Springfield IL.  Melody graduated from Gresham High School. She went on to work in construction in South Dakota and  later returned to Wisconsin to work on the family farm in Gresham. She also worked at the Menominee Indian Casino for several years. She loved being around animals as well as crocheting, baking, and being with her granddaughters.

Melody is survived by her son David (Lisa) Wurth; her grandchildren Lily Wurth, and Jayla Wurth; her brothers Donald Wurth, of Gresham, and William Wurth, of Clintonville. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Minnie Asenbrener.

A memorial service for Melody will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 11:00 am with Mr. Richard Menning officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am on Thursday until the time of service.
