Melvin Roger Kazik, age 69 of Bowler, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021. He was born on September 13th, 1951, to the late Ervin J. Kazik and Elsie M. (Smith) Kazik. Melvin proudly served a total of four years in the United State Marine Corps including one tour in Vietnam.  On June 10th, 1972, he happily married the women who tried to keep him in line, Ella "Ellie" (Malone) Kazik. They were married for 49 years with three children. He spent 30 years working for Hoffman Wood Fibers where he enjoyed his time and the relationships he made. He enjoyed, all things Ford, rummaging, camping, fishing, watching Nascar and the Packers. Most of all he treasured his time with his family and his dog Sage.

Melvin is survived by: his wife, Ella "Ellie" (Malone) Kazik; children, Kimberley (Warren) Hoffman, Melvin "Toad" (Kristen Welch) Kazik Jr., Thomas "Tom" (Kelly Irving) Kazik; grandchildren, KimmiLei (Jeremy) Bartz, Violet (Martin Stevens) Ready, LaRie (Julian Webster) Shooter, Trae Moede, James (Kelsie Schroeder) Kazik, Thomas (Brianne Rosenow) Kazik II, Bailee St. Germaine, Tristin Kazik, Jada Kazik, Waylon Welch, Jake Kazik, Katie Welch, Madison Irving, Melaina Granquist, Maiyah Granquist, Leilah Brunette-Kazik and Jamie Kazik; great grandchildren, Kieannah Stevens, Ava Moede, Kenai Stevens, Johnny Kinney Jr, Everleigh Bartz, Sitka Stevens, Angelice Mendoza, and two on the way; siblings, Eungene (Judy) Kazik, Elaine Charles, Ervin (Butch) Kazik, Evelyn Kazik, Ellen Kazik, Edwin (Marilee) Kazik, Ellie Schilling, Earl Kazik, Elizabeth (Floyd) Bohm, Angie (Mark) Reimer, Pat (Linda) Kazik, Joanie (John) Stuempges, Jan (Amy) Kazik, Nancy Stephani, Charlie (Steve) Wollenberg; special nephew & nieces, Maunee Granquist, Geronimo St. Germaine, Elmer (Muttley) Welch, Justin Welch and Nadly 'Tooter' Moede; and in Laws: Margaret Wasrud and Barbara Malone.

Preceded in death by: his mother and father, Ervin J. Kazik and Elsie M. (Smith) Kazik; his siblings, Eileen, Joseph, Elizabeth, Timothy, and Anthony; his father and mother in law, Harry Malone and Leona (Beilke) Malone; brothers and sisters in law, Myron Charles, Karen Kazik, Mary Kazik, George Wallenfang, Dorthy Moede, Harry Malone, Robert Malone, Mary Malone-Tepiew, Bruce Eggum, Robert Wasrud and James Malone.

The family will have a celebration of life on September 12th.
