Melvin "Marv" James Pyatskowit, age 58, passed away on Monday October 23, 2023, in Green Bay. Melvin was born on November 15, 1964, to the late Walter Pyatskowit in South Branch. He attended Menominee High School and played basketball while there. Melvin enjoyed being out in the woods and shoreline fishing. He worked as a self-employed logger for many years. He liked his Green Bay Packers and Budweiser Beer. Melvin loved his sons and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Melvin is survived by his sons, David (Lynn) Pyatskowit and D.J. (Lisa) Pyatskowit; grandchildren, Alexander, Kesaehsa, Stormie, Mason and Riley; siblings, Lauren, Ronnie, Toostie and Lee; He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Melvin is preceded in death by his father, Walter; grandson, Braxton; and siblings, Porky, Lynn, John, Bruce, Bev, Verene, Val, Choogie and Tommy; and special nephews, Joe and Jim-Bo.

A gathering of family and friends for Melvin will be held at N1207 Spirit Island Road in Keshena starting on Wednesday October 25, 2023, at 2:00 pm and continuing until 2:00 pm on Friday October 27, 2023.
