Michael John Balthazor, Sr., age 63 of Navarino, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 9, 1949 in Wausau, he was the son of the late Orville and Josephine (Mentzel) Balthazor. On July 12, 1969 he was united in marriage to Joyce Jarek in Navarino. Michael worked as a truck driver and also spent many hours working on the farm that he built with his family. When not at work he enjoyed being in the woods cutting firewood and spending time on his John Deere, as well as spending time with his grandchildren. Michael was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Michael is survived by: his wife, Joyce; 4 children, Michael (Janelle) Balthazor of Shiocton, Jacqueline (Kelsey) Lardinois of Krakow, Vicki (Brad) Krueger of Shawano, Bradley (fiancé, Brooke Daelke) Balthazor of Seymour; 9 grandchildren, Trevor Balthazor, Ryan, Tyler and Allison Lardinois, Bryce and Pierce Krueger, Skylar Beck, Jayden and Carter Balthazor with the 10th grandchild, a baby girl, on the way; his mother-in-law, Irene Jarek of Bonduel; 2 brothers; and 5 sisters. Memorial services will be held at 6:00pm on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Navarino. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 4:30pm until the time of the service.
